Alex and her workroom produce beautifully made Roman blinds, made completely bespoke and finished by hand. There's a range of options to choose from to ensure they cover your windows to give the coverage you need and in a style that works with the surrounding interior.

LININGS

Choose from a range of linings including cotton, blackout and thermal, to ensure your blinds meet the practical requirements for covering your windows. The type of lining is especially important, when making blinds, to create the desired drape; the look and feel of the fabric.

FABRIC

Your blinds can be made up in any fabric and Alex is a partner of Linwood Fabrics, James Hare, Warner House, The Pure Edit and many more. You are welcome into the studio to browse sample books and can request any humber of samples free of charge to be sent in the post.

DESIGN

Roman blinds can be made in many different ways to create different styles. Alex offers standard stacking, London and Rexaled styles of blind.

INTEGRATED RETURNS OR PELMETS

When a Roman blind sits outside of the window recess and you want hide the headrail we use an integrated return otherwise known as an "integrated pelmet". It's a neat and tidy way to cover the sides for a professionally made finish. Alternatively use a detachable headrail cover or full size decorative pelmet.

SHEER & UNLINED ROMAN BLINDS

Unlined blinds or those made in sheer fabric are work as a stand alone window covering or as a secondary privacy layer underneath a lined Roman blind or pair of curtains. There is an extensive range of sheer and semi sheer fabrics available to choose from.

BORDERS TASSELS AND TRIMS

You can design your blinds with borders and trims which are great for hiding joins or adding width to Roman Blinds. Tassels work well along the hem of the Roman Blind and can add some fun to a children's bedroom.

Fitting & Instillation

Blind installation can arranged as a part of your project as required. Alex works with a local and trusted professional fitter.
